Terms & Conditions

By booking a bloom bar rental with Lo Knows Art ("we," "us," "our"), you ("client," "you") agree to the terms below. Please read them before completing your booking.

1. Bookings & Payment

  • Clients must be 18 years of age or older to book a rental with Lo Knows Art. By booking, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your date and tier (The Beatrice, The Katherine, or The Diana).

  • The remaining balance is automatically charged 2 weeks before your event date using the payment method on file. It is the client's responsibility to ensure a valid payment method is available at that time.

  • All listed prices are tax-inclusive.

  • A $75 refundable damage deposit is collected separately at booking (see Section 4).

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand plans change. Refunds on your deposit follow this schedule based on how far in advance you cancel:

Rescheduling: We're happy to move your booking to a new date once, free of charge, provided the request is made at least 14 days before your original event date, subject to availability. Reschedule requests made less than 14 days out are treated under the cancellation schedule above.

3. Rental Window & Late Returns

  • All tiers include a standard 5-hour rental window, beginning at pickup.

  • Need more time? An Extra Hour add-on ($20 flat) can be added at booking.

  • Equipment returned after the agreed window without a pre-arranged extension is billed at $25 per hour late, charged to the payment method on file.

  • A $75 refundable damage deposit is collected at booking, separate from your rental price, for bookings that include standard pickup/dropoff (client-transported).

  • This deposit is waived for bookings that include the Delivery + Takedown or Delivery + Attendant add-on, since Lo Knows Art handles transport and, where applicable, on-site supervision of the equipment.

  • Where charged, this deposit is refunded within 3 business days of the equipment being returned in its original condition.

  • The deposit covers minor to moderate damage. It does not cap your liability — see Section 5, which applies regardless of whether the deposit was collected or waived.

  • Normal wear from ordinary use is not deducted from the deposit.

  • The remaining balance is automatically charged 2 weeks before your event date using the payment method on file. It is the client's responsibility to ensure a valid payment method is available at that time.

  • All listed prices are tax-inclusive.

  • A $75 refundable damage deposit is collected separately at booking (see Section 4) No damage deposit required if LoKnowsArt transports for the client. 

6. Pickup & Dropoff (Standard Service)

  • The Beatrix and Katherine tiers are pickup and dropoff only — the client is responsible for transporting the equipment to and from the pickup location.

  • Delivery is available as an add-on (see Section 7) for clients who prefer not to transport equipment themselves.

  • The client is responsible for the equipment's condition during transport, including secure loading and handling.

7. Add Ons

  • The following add-ons may be added to your booking:

  • Add-on pricing and availability are subject to change; the price confirmed at booking applies to your event.

8. Equipment Use & Client Responsibility

  • Equipment must be used as intended and kept in a reasonably safe, dry, and stable environment for the duration of the rental.

  • The client is responsible for supervising equipment use during the event, including around children, in accordance with reasonable care.

  • Any modifications, disassembly beyond normal use, or use outside the agreed rental period is not permitted without prior written consent.

9. Liability

  • Lo Knows Art is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of rental equipment during the rental period. The client agrees to use all rented items responsibly and assumes responsibility for the equipment while it is in their possession.

10. Weather & Circumstances Beyond Our Control

  • Lo Knows Art is not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (severe weather, road closures, etc.). In such cases, we will work with the client in good faith to reschedule where possible.

  • The Grand Backdrop (crepe paper flowers): Handmade crepe paper flowers are delicate and not weather-resistant. Rain, high humidity, or direct water exposure can permanently damage or ruin them. Clients booking The Grand Backdrop for an outdoor event are responsible for providing adequate cover (tent, awning, or indoor backup location) in the event of rain. Lo Knows Art is not responsible for damage to crepe paper flowers caused by weather exposure.

11. Photo & Media Release

  • Lo Knows Art may photograph or record bloom bar setups at client events for use in our portfolio, website, and social media (e.g., Instagram). We focus on the setup and floral work rather than identifiable guests where possible. If you prefer your event not be photographed or featured, please let us know in writing prior to your event date, and we will honor that request.

12. Changes to These Terms

  • Lo Knows Art reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The terms in effect at the time of your booking apply to that booking.
